For example I know the book is quite old (from 1965) and some of it's information may be outdated. However, I'm sure that even the best of books can have their disadvantages. One other great thing about him and his book is that he has an objective tone and that means that whenever he believes Napoleon deserves criticism for his conduct of a certain campaign, he let's him have it, and he is equally able to praise Napoleon where the case makes it necessary.

Plus, Chandler sometimes tends to adopt a humorous tone and that makes things even better, I'd find myself straight up laughing when reading his book. The book comes with a lot of information but that information is delivered in such a way that you actually feel you're learning things.

Chandler's book on Napoleon's campaigns and so far it's a great read.
